This week, all 7 finalists have met with judges remotely via video-call to undertake an interview for the judges to decide on the overall winner for the category. The winners will be announced on the 30th October at Birmingham ICC. The winners from the regionals will then be shortlisted for the nationals, which will take place in March 2022.

All those shortlisted are overwhelmed by their nominations and success – especially after such a hard hitting 18 months for the Social Care Sector.

Vikki Pryce, CCL’s Chief Executive said “Having so many nominations shortlisted for the Great British Care Awards is just confirmation of the excellent team we have at CCL. COVID has been a real strain for everyone that has worked in social care and that’s why these awards are so important. I am a true believer that social care should be recognised as a profession. I am proud of every single member of staff that was nominated and every member of staff that works for CCL”.
