This week residents of CCL’s Hall Bank Mews Scheme, Pontesbury, enjoyed a unique experience when Corner Exotics visited their home.

Corner Exotics provided an educational and entertaining experience with a variety of different animals for residents to interact with.

Residents learnt about the animals natural environments, how they protect themselves and why they look and feel different. The animals included; snakes, spiders, lizards, a hedgehog, a chinchilla and a tortoise.

Everyone had the opportunity to touch and feel the animals,  Rhian said “the Chinchilla” was her favourite and Rachael said “holding the snake made me very brave”.

The residents had a great day learning about the animals and made lots of fantastic memories with their friends.
