Condover College celebrated all of our learner’s achievements, with friends and family joining us for an action packed day.

Our Day Opportunities team hosted a themed event based upon the popular film ‘The Greatest Showman’. The Village hall at Nesscliffe was transformed with live music, dancing, face painting, flags and party food, with the cakes being extremely popular with learners and staff alike. The event was also a chance to congratulate and present our learner achievement awards.

The Grafton Education Centre celebrated learner achievements and relived some of the special memories with those learners graduating this summer. We also felt inspired and proud of our six learners who achieved their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award this summer, what a great achievement!

Following the awards, both parties joined together for a summer barbeque in the glorious sunshine at the Grafton Centre which included; – music, dancing, singing and a bouncy castle. Learners, families, friends and staff enjoyed spending a beautiful afternoon out in the sunshine, catching up and reminiscing about the past year and all that has been achieved.

Staff were also celebrated at the event, with Kirsty Power receiving the Colleague of the year Award, which is in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the staff team. Nominees Katy, Jo, Debbie, Vanessa and Lorna were also congratulated for their outstanding contributions this year.
