Beth’s role has continued to develop, Beth now arranges and schedules all staff training for CCL and has been heavily involved in the training and implementation of the new digital Access system for the organisation.

Beth’s confidence has grown within her role she recently jointly presented training sessions at the Annual Conference, another string to her professional career.

CCL have been extremely proud of Beth, she won the Rising Star Award at the Hereford and Ludlow College County Training Apprenticeship Awards, this was an amazing achievement and highlights Beth’s high standard and dedication to her work and apprenticeship.

Beth is due to complete her Apprenticeship by March and has told us:“My Apprenticeship has given me skills for life, as it has given me the opportunity to gain a qualification whilst working and gain invaluable work experience. My apprenticeship has set my career in Administration”.

Well done Beth and good luck on completing your Apprenticeship, you are a real asset to the team.

Ellie completed her Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship in 2021 and since then has gone from strength to strength, she has now completed her CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management with the support of CCL.

Ellie’s role to has developed further and she is part of some key working groups within CCL, the Recruitment Working Group and Safeguarding Committee, contributing her knowledge and ideas to develop CCL as an organisation and employer.

Ellie is involved in many HR processes and played a pivotal role within the recent recruitment drive, overseeing all applicants for employment including arranging sponsorship for oversea applicants. We are very proud of Ellie and Beth as the Recruitment Team became a Regional Finalist at the GBCA in 2023.

This is what Ellie said about her qualification – “My continued learning has given me many transferable skills, the level 5 has covered many topics from Evidence Based Practice to Specialist Employment Law, and contribution all these units have given the skills for life for my career in HR and Training” “The Apprenticeship in business administration gave me the foundation for my career in HR”.

CCL invest in their staff and have an ethos of ‘growing our own’. CCL believe that when you combine the passion that our staff possess with training and support, anything is possible. Ellie and Beth are testament to that with all of their hard work they have progressed within their job roles and Apprenticeship routes are a fantastic way to start in any career.
