We would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful team member, Sarah Raven from our Hall Bank Mews Scheme. Sarah took it upon herself to raise money to buy Usborne books for our Library at our Day Opportunities Scheme. Using a ‘Just Giving’ page and sharing through the power of social media, Sarah raised £300. CCL matched this – donating an extra £300, Usborne gave us £250 of free books and Sarah received £130 in commission for selling the books, which she also donated! The library has a wide range of books, which all houses and schemes can access and benefit from. Having these Usborne books is a fantastic addition to our library. We are enormously grateful to Sarah for raising the funds and can’t wait to see the joy the books will bring to our learners! A huge thank you to all involved!
