We at CCL are incredibly proud of Rebecca and all that she has achieved. With the support and encouragement of CCL, Rebecca embarked on a Lead Practitioner in Adult Care Apprenticeship, working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care with SBC Training.

Rebecca has embraced the apprenticeship with enthusiasm, dedication, and a positive attitude, happily working on her course alongside her day-to-day responsibilities. Since she started the apprenticeship in September 2025, she has completed extensive training, research, coursework, and professional development activities. Through her determination and exceptional work ethic, Rebecca is on track to complete the course ahead of schedule. Her passion for learning, developing her skills, and continuously improving the support she provides has been evident throughout her apprenticeship journey.

Rebecca’s hard work and commitment have been recognised by SBC Training, who nominated her for the Health and Social Care category at the 2026 Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Apprenticeship Awards, and we are delighted to announce that she has been shortlisted as a finalist.

Speaking about the news, Rebecca had this to say:

“I was over the moon to be nominated and shortlisted for this apprenticeship award. Completing my apprenticeship alongside my role as Registered Manager has been challenging at times, but incredibly rewarding. I’ve gained valuable knowledge and skills that have helped me grow both personally and professionally, and I’m proud to have my hard work recognised in this way.”

Her trainer, Debbie Uzzell from SBC Training, made this comment.

“Rebecca has shown excellent commitment to her apprenticeship. She has developed strong research skills and demonstrated a clear ability to apply theory to practice, particularly in areas such as leadership, reflective practice and communication. She is a dedicated learner who continually strives to improve.”

The winner of the Health and Social Care category will be announced at the 2026 Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Apprenticeship Awards on 8th October, and everyone at Condover College is firmly behind Rebecca as she awaits the results. Adding to her success, she has also been nominated by CCL for the Partners in Care Learners Award, giving her another well-deserved opportunity for recognition. We will be keeping everything crossed for her.

At CCL, we are committed to supporting our colleagues to learn, develop, and achieve their full potential. Rebecca’s success is a wonderful example of what can be achieved through dedication, opportunity, and the right support, and we couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishment.
